Ok, I've just about had it! It's not even been THAT windy and for some reason there is STUFF ALL OVER the freeways! Now that doesn't sound like a big deal but when you're on a bike it IS...rather a motorcycle at top speeds with a gust of anything blown your way!
There has been retread, coffee cups, papers, plastics, and twigs all over the place. This is when dodging and swerving comes in handy and also thankfully, leather jackets and fairings to keep your legs unharmed. Sheesh. It's like the apocalypse out there recently.
Thankfully no one has thrown anything AT me or run into me. A guy in a Volvo did some stupid stuff on his own in the middle of the freeway just fishtailing for no reason and that's enough to get you WAYYY ahead of anyone.
Sigh....I swear I am NOT gonna go out without leg armor on. Nope, I won't.
